Your online success depends on this crucial area of research. Do keyword research for the proposed niche. Analyze competition and determine whether it is viable to follow the same route. Some niche have to much competition that it will take all of your time and the results will not be very attractive. You really need to do your homework on this. Look for niche that have low competition.

Personally my online success is attributed to multiple blogs of low competition. It is very easy to set up a niche site of low competition within a few hours and optimize it for traffic. I can do two blogs a day but I have realized that doing one is yielding more results. Even though one niche site yields only a few bucks a day, I have maxed my income with these multiple sites. So I advise you not to go for niche of high searches because you will probably not make it.

My advise for you in order to attain online success is; look for niches with less searches probably less than 5000 a month and optimize them. Also create many of them and I am sure you wont fail to succeed online.
